๐Ÿ“… Manage Employee Leave

Make sure your team gets their well-deserved breaks without disrupting your business.

Steps to Block Calendar for Employee Leave:

  1. Log into your Salonkee Pro account.

  2. Go to โ€œCalendar.โ€

  3. Select the first day of your employee's leave on the Salonkee calendar. Double-click on their calendar as if you were creating an appointment.

  4. Navigate to the "Block time" tab

  5. In "Reason", under "Away", select "Holiday"

  6. Change the period title, if applicable.

  7. Adjust leave dates :

    1. First day off: in Date, click on "Full day" if applicable.

    2. Last day off: In Frequency, select "From this day and every day thereafter" to indicate your employee's last day off

    3. You can also specify individual dates by selecting "For individual dates"

  8. Click on "Block time" to save.

โœ‰๏ธ Notify Customers of Employee Leave

If any staff are taking a break, inform your clients about who will be covering for them. Use Salonkee's email tool for quick updates.

๐Ÿ–Š Update your Salonkee page

Keep your customers informed by updating your Salonkee page. Add details about employee leave, salon closure dates or promotions.

Steps to Update:

  1. Log into your Salonkee Pro account.

  2. Click on "My Salon"

  3. In the menu on the left, in the section "Website changes", click on "Salon information"

  4. Navigate to the โ€œCustom message - will be visible on your public page". Edit the content to include leave, closure information or even seasonal promotions.

  5. Don't forget to save your changes!
