In the world of hairdressing, beauty and well-being, every service deserves its own adapted pricing. With Salonkee, you can set prices according to the experience, seniority or expertise of your employees, so you can properly value each service while recognizing your team's hard work.
How it works:

Here's how you can set it up:
Step 1: Enable Employee Role-Based Pricing
Click on My Salon on the top-right corner of the platform.
2. On the left sidebar, navigate to Settings and select General.
3. Scroll down to the Employees section on the right-hand side.
4. Simply toggle both switches to activate the dynamic pricing feature.
Step 2: Assign Roles to Employees
On the left-side bar, navigate to the Employees tab and select Employee Management.
2. Select an employee and open the Miscellaneous tab.
3. Click on Employee Role, select Add Employee Roles.
4. Add your desired Role & Save (e.g., Junior Stylist, Senior Stylist).
5. When adding a new role, you’ll have the option of creating that role for use in This Salon Only, or sharing it with All Salons in Group, if it's a chain salon (indicated by the house icon).
6. Save and confirm the settings.
If you share the role with all other salons in your group, the role will automatically appear in the employee settings of each salon.
Step 3: Configure Service Pricing
On the left-side bar, navigate to the Services Tab and select your desired service.
2. Under the Service Items section, select Add employee specific pricing option.
3. Under the Employee Type section, select your desired role for that service and assign a specific price for that role.
4. Scroll down to the Online Bookable Employees section and choose the stylists for the selected service
5. Save to confirm the settings. Once configured, these customizations will show a price range for the selected service.
This streamlined setup increases flexibility and transparency, giving clients clear expectations while enabling salons to optimize pricing according to staff expertise and roles.
Step 4: Client Booking Experience
1. A rage of prices will be shown if that service was selected for Employee Role Based Pricing.
2. Clients selecting a service can pick a specific stylist or choose the First Available option:
If they select a stylist, the assigned role and price will be displayed before confirmation.
If they choose First Available, they will be assigned the first stylist available within the specified price range.
