Your Salonkee website gives customers an easy way to browse and book your services, meet your team, explore your specialties, and purchase gift vouchers or subscriptions online.
You can design and preview your website with the Salonkee Website Builder before committing to a subscription.
How do I start?
Navigate to the “Website Builder” page at the top of your Salonkee dashboard.
Click “Try Now” at the bottom of the page to get started.
Now, you can start creating your new website.
1. Select a website template.
Choose from a variety of our website templates. Each template offers a professional design, ready to customize for your brand.
1.1. Colour:
You can choose the theme colour for your website. It is advised to pick one of the pre-defined colours as they work best on text.
However, if you wish to choose your own primary website colour. Then click on your preferred website template, and then click on the plus button to select your salon’s specific brand colour. When choosing a primary website colour, ensure that the text can be readable on the colour.
1.2. Device Preview:
The three different devices in the middle will offer you a preview of your website on a mobile device, tablet device, and computer.
1.3. Live Preview:
A live preview will show how your website template will look and allow you to interact with it.
2. Add additional content
Most of the content on your website will already be populated from the existing information from your Salonkee page. It is up to you to add more additional content.
2.1. Logo:
You can manually upload your salon’s logo - this appears at the top left of your website. Ensure your logo is of good quality.
💡Recommendation: Uploading a logo with a transparent background will give your website a cleaner, more polished look.
2.2 Images:
2.2.1 Cover Image:
You can upload your own main image or use the existing cover image from your Salonkee page. The main image on your website will be automatically taken from your Salonkee page.
2.2.2 Gallery:
The existing gallery images from your Salonkee salon page will populate your website gallery. You can add, remove, and re-order them as you like. It is recommended that you only include pictures of your salon premises - avoid logos or examples of work which you can include in the Portfolio section.
2.2.3. Portfolio:
This section allows you to showcase the range and quality of your services. You can populate the images directly in this section. You can add, remove, and re-order them as you like.
2.3. Languages:
Choose the language in which visitors can view your website. Don’t forget to add translations for any information you’ve configured in your Salonkee account, such as salon information, service description or employee biographies.
In your website preview, you can see how the languages will appear in the dropdown menu.
2.4 Our services:
To help customers understand what you offer, include an 'Our Services' section to highlight your main service areas. This section is not automatically taken from your Salonkee account. For each service area, you can include a title, description and image.

2.5 Subscription:
If you’re offering online subscriptions on your booking page, this section allows you to showcase your subscription plans directly to your website visitors. You can customize the section with a title and description to match your brand. Your subscription offers are automatically imported from your Salonkee page, ensuring seamless updates.

2.6 Reviews:
The reviews you've highlighted in ‘Your Reviews’ section will be automatically shown on your website.
Here you can highlight your favourite reviews by selecting the flag next to the review. Please note that a maximum of 3 reviews can be highlighted.

2.7 Team:
A team page on your website can help build trust by introducing the faces and expertise behind your business, fostering a personal connection and enhancing customer confidence in your services. You can easily update and manage this section yourself.

2.8 Contact Information:
Displaying contact details and a map on your website ensures customers can easily find your business.
2.9 Website legal information:
In certain countries, it is a legal requirement to display your business information on your website. If your business is based in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, or Luxembourg, you must enable this option to comply with local regulations.
Providing the required legal details—such as your business name, address, and contact information—not only ensures transparency but also helps you avoid legal penalties and fines.
3. Select your website address
Your website comes with its very own unique address. If you don’t have one yet, we’ll handle everything to help you choose and set it up effortlessly.
If you don’t have a website address yet, we’ll help you find the one for you, and take care of registering and configuring it. After subscribing, your website will typically be LIVE within 48 hours.
If you already have an existing website address you want to use for your new Salonkee website, we’ll ask for some additional information from you after you subscribe.
