Until now, Salonkee let you assign employees to a service, so clients could not choose other employees when booking online. Now you can also block and/or allow online booking of your services on specific days. For example, if you don't want a service to be bookable online on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, simply block it by unticking those two days!

How does it work?

First, activate the feature. Go to "My Salon", click "Settings" on the left and then "General". In the services section, allow day-based restrictions for online bookings.

Next, go to "Services", choose the service or package you want, scroll to the bottom of the page and untick the days on which online booking should be disabled, as shown below:

All that's left is to confirm. When your clients try to book this service, it will appear in red/unavailable on the days you have disabled it. A message will also explain that the selected service is not available on that day, so your clients can choose another day or another service.

Why is this feature useful?

For example, you might want to dedicate Saturdays to colouring, because these services take a long time and your clients have more time at the weekend. In that case, simply disable all other services on Saturdays so they can no longer be booked.

On the other hand, if Tuesday is your quietest day, you can allow online booking of all your services to give yourself the best chance of a full calendar that day.

Please note:

  • These changes only affect the online booking platform. You can still schedule appointments manually in your calendar if you want to make an exception.

  • If a service is "bookable online" on days when your salon is closed, clients will of course not be able to book it. But if you open exceptionally, on a Sunday for example, the service will automatically become bookable.
