You can now fully manage your salon's security and schedule by blocking specific customers from booking online. This highly requested feature helps you maintain a safer and more efficient day-to-day workflow.

🛡️ How to block a customer from online booking
Log into your Salonkee Pro account.
Go to the Customers tab at the top of your page.
3. Open the Customer File of the client you wish to restrict.
4. Navigate to the Restrictions tab.
5. Enable ‘Block customer’.
6. Click Save.
You will now see that the customer has a label underneath their name indicating that they have a restricted booking setting.
👀 What the customer will see
We have designed this feature to be discreet to avoid discomfort for you and the client.
Privacy first: The customer will not see a message stating they are personally blocked.
Standard Notification: Instead, whenever they try to book with you online, they will see a generic message stating: "Sorry, this salon isn't currently accepting online bookings."
⚡️ Overriding a booking restriction
We understand that circumstances change and you may want to make a one-time exception for a client without fully unblocking them. If needed, you can still choose to override the blocking and book an appointment manually for that customer.
When creating a manual booking, a pop-up will appear notifying you of the restriction. You can select "Allow this booking" to proceed.
The final decision will always remain in your hands; the customer's profile will remain restricted for future online attempts unless you manually toggle the setting off.
