Your online appointments are already protected by your cancellation policy, but you also want to protect those booked directly in the salon or by phone? With Offline Booking Protection, every slot in your calendar is secure.
You will be able to automatically send a confirmation email or SMS after creating an appointment in the calendar. The message contains a link to the payment confirmation page on Salonkee, where the client can confirm their appointment by paying a deposit or leaving a credit card authorization .
If confirmation is not received within the specified timeframe, the appointment will automatically be cancelled. You can apply this protection to all bookings or only to certain services, and deactivate it on a case-by-case basis, if necessary. This feature is available with the Payments package.

⚙️ How to enable offline protection
To apply your online security rules to manual bookings:
Log into your Salonkee Pro account.
Go to My Salon > Settings.
Under the Payments section, click Payment Settings.
At the top of the screen you’ll see an option called "Protection for online bookings"
Tap the Edit button to change your payment protection to include ‘Online and offline bookings’.
6. Set a confirmation deadline: Define how long the customer has to confirm (e.g., 1 hour or 24 hours) before the booking is automatically cancelled to free up the slot.
Now just finish setting up your payment settings, and you’re ready to go.
🗓️ Creating appointment in the calendar
Whenever you create an appointment, Salonkee Pro automatically checks your rules. If the booking needs protection, an orange banner will appear at the top of your screen to let you know.
When you hit 'Continue,' you’ll be asked how you’d like to send the request—simply choose email or SMS. If you’re missing the client's contact info, you can add it right there on the spot without leaving the page.
On the client’s end, it’s just as easy. They’ll receive a link to confirm their booking in a few quick steps—no account or login required.
Just remember, if they don’t complete the request within your chosen timeframe, the appointment will be automatically cancelled to keep your calendar clear.

🛡️ Tracking status in the agenda
On your calendar, it’s easy to spot which appointments are still waiting for confirmation. These will appear in grey with a shield icon, so you always know exactly where things stand at a glance.
If you need more details, just tap on the booking. You’ll see a real-time countdown of how much time the customer has left to confirm. From here, you’re in total control: you can re-send the request if they missed it, extend their deadline, or even remove the protection request entirely if you change your mind.
📊 Monitoring requests via dashboards
If you want to keep an eye on the status of all of your offline booking protection requests in one place, we’ve added a new dashboard which gives you all the information you’ll need:
Navigate to your Dashboards area.
In the left-hand navigation menu, select Payments and then click on Offline Booking payments.
This report shows the status of every protection request across your entire schedule.
If you click on a request, it will display the relevant appointment directly in your calendar.
