Many specialized services—such as couples' massages, four-hand manicures, or simultaneous hair and nail packages—require two or more staff members to be available at the exact same time.

The Multi-staff Bookings feature automates this coordination. Instead of manually checking a second employee's availability after a booking is made, Salonkee now reserves all necessary staff members instantly. These appointments remain linked, meaning a change to one staff member's schedule automatically updates the others to keep the service in sync.

⚙️ Setting Up a Multi-staff Service

To enable this feature for specific treatments, you must configure the service settings:

  1. Go to My Salon settings and click on Services.

  2. Create a new service or select an existing one that requires multiple employees (e.g., "Couples Massage").

  3. Navigate to the Staff & Bookings tab.

  4. Scroll to the bottom to the Number of Employees section.

  5. Select how many staff members are required to perform this service (e.g., 2 employees).


🗓️ Creating a Multi-staff Booking in the Agenda

Booking a multi-staff service manually is now seamless and requires no double-checking:

  1. Start creating a new booking in your agenda under one customer's name.

  2. Select the specific multi-staff service you set up previously.

3. Use the Timeslot finder to choose a suitable time.

4. Once you click on a time, Salonkee will automatically reserve the right number of employees and auto-assign them to the service.

5. Optional: If you need to change the auto-assigned staff, simply click on the employees icon within the booking and select your preferred employees.

6. Save the booking.

  • Synchronized Movement: If you need to reschedule a multi-staff Booking, simply drag and drop the appointment in one employee's calendar. The linked appointment for the second (or third) employee will move automatically to stay in sync.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I choose which specific employees are paired? Yes. When setting up the service, you can define a pool of qualified employees. When a booking is made, the system will prioritize availability within that pool.

What happens if I delete one part of the Multi-staff Booking? Because the appointments are linked, the system will prompt you to confirm if you want to cancel the entire synchronized session, ensuring your data remains accurate.
