Is there a specific client you no longer wish to accept bookings from at your salon? Salonkee allows you to apply restrictions to individual customers to prevent them from make bookings, both online and in-store.
👤 1. Ensure the customer’s file is complete
First check that the specific customer has their own customer file on your system.
If the customer has booked online before, then you will already have their full name, email and phone number on the file.
If they haven’t booked online: This information is used to identify the customer if they attempt to book again, either online or when you try to create a booking manually. If restrictions are applied, a RESTRICTED label will be added to the customers’ profile.
⚙️ 2. Restrict the Customer’s Booking options
Open the customer’s profile.
Click on the ‘Restrictions’ tab.
You can then choose one of the following options:

The customer will be blocked from booking online.
A label will appear on the customer’s profile when you attempt to create a booking manually, informing you that they are a restricted customer.
💵 ‘Booking protection’:
The customer will pay a deposit when booking online.
The customer’s profile will have a label named 'Restricted/Blocked'. You will see this when you attempt to create a booking manually.
👀 3. What do restricted customers see when they try to book online?
When a restricted customer attempts to book online, they will see a message informing them that your salon is currently not accepting online bookings.
🚫 4. Manual bookings for restricted customers.
A “Restricted” label will appear underneath the customer’s profile picture.
This label is visible when creating a booking manually.
If your salon uses Caller Identification (Popcall), the same label will also appear when the customer calls.
💡Please note: This restriction prevents the customer from booking online. For manual bookings, it serves only as a warning to staff.
