How to Use the Time Slot Finder

Learn how to use the Time Slot Finder to instantly locate the best time slots for your clients while keeping your schedule optimized

The Time Slot Finder takes the guesswork out of booking by automatically finding free slots where your customer’s services fit perfectly. Instead of manually searching through your calendar, let the system highlight the most efficient gaps in your day.

🔍 How it works

You can find available slots for both new and existing appointments:

  • For New Bookings: Click the “+” button in your agenda, select your customer and services, then click “Find timeslots”.

  • For Rescheduling: Open an existing appointment and click on Booking Options and click on Find Timeslots to quickly see new options.

  • Assigning Employees: The “auto” label means the system will automatically choose the best employee to keep your calendar optimized. To pick a specific person, tap the employee icon to see only their availability.


🎨 Understanding the colors

When time slots appear, they are color-coded to help you choose the best gap for your business:

  • 🟢 Green: A perfect fit that sits flush against an existing appointment, leaving no gaps.

  • 🟠 Orange: Creates a gap, but one large enough to be filled by another appointment later.

  • 🔴 Red: This doesn’t mean that this timeslot is not available, it just means that it will creates a small gap that likely won't be filled (you can still select this if necessary).


⚙️ Refining your search

At the bottom left, you can use filters to apply or override the specific rules set up in your salon:

  • Employee & Customer Restrictions: Apply rules that control which customers can book with certain employees.

  • Day and Time: Respect rules for services only offered on specific days or times.

  • Employee Service Limits: Adhere to daily limits on how many times an employee can perform a specific service.

Unchecking any of these options allows for more flexibility by temporarily disabling these restrictions.
