We’re enhancing Salonkee’s review functionality to help you generate more Google reviews, also reach your offline clients, and provide a smoother experience.
1. Boost Your Online Reputation by increasing your Google reviews
Your Salonkee reviews are great, but Google reviews are the engine of local search. You can now automatically prompt your most satisfied customers to share their experience directly on Google.
How to Configure Google Reviews in Keenext:
Go to My Salon > Salon Page > Your Reviews.
Click on the new "Google Reviews" tab.
Toggle on "Invite customers to review on Google"
Connect Your Google Business Account: Search for your salon’s name via the Google Business or paste your direct Google Review URL manually and click Save.
What does the client see?
When a client leaves a 4 or 5-star review on Salonkee, they will see a confirmation screen inviting them to copy & share their review on Google.
2. Make Your Offline Clients Count: Invitations for Offline Bookings
You can now invite “offline” clients to leave a review after their visit, via email or SMS.
How to Configure Offline Reviews:
1. Go to My Salon > Settings > General > Offline reviews.
2. Send review invitations by email --> Free and toggled by default.
A review invitation is sent at the end of the day to all your checked out offline clients (pending an email is saved in their customer file). If they had more than one appointment - only one email will be sent.
3. Send review invitations by SMS --> Chargeable and not activated by default.
SMS is used as a fallback, only if the client does not have an email address on file. If they had more than one appointment - only one SMS will be sent.
4. Smart sending: To keep things professional, our system ensures customers aren't spammed by enforcing a “90/60 rule": it's a maximum of one invite every 60 days or 90 days after receiving a review.
3. Improved review features for a better client experience
We’ve also made the review experience smoother and more flexible for your clients:
Multiple Reviews: Clients can now leave a unique review for every visit (up to 10 reviews per salon per year), rather than being restricted to just one review ever.
Edit Functionality: Did a client change their mind? They can now edit their submitted reviews for up to 90 days after their visit.
Easy Opt-Out: Every email includes an unsubscribe link so clients can manage their notification preferences with one click.
